This machine is qualified by renowned bearing rollers producers within the aerospace industry to assume NDT (Non Destructive Testing) quality check thanks to Eddy Current technology at a rate of 1 part every 5,5 seconds.
The rollers are first demagnetized, to enter an Eddy Current quality check. This technique works as follows : a magnetic field is inducted in the part that has to be analyzed. This field is altered as soon as it faces an alteration in the metallic part being analysed. After the check, the valid parts are measured and sorted by dimension category.
