1 axle or 2 axles ?
Is a single axle sufficient ?

A gap of 30 ° in comparison with the light source causes an average loss of output of 2 % (according to various corroborating sources).

In the north of France as in Belgium, the sun trajectory goes up at the farthest to 62 ° in the sky, on June 21st.

In Marseille, the sun goes up at the farthest to 68 °.
Let be a medium elevation of 65 ° on the French territory.
A SINGLE VERTICAL AXLE IS ENOUGH !
Our tracker, with a single vertical axle, supports panels with an orientation of 35 ° in comparison with the vertical
When the sun varies from 5° to 65° of elevation, we are always less than 30° from the ideal position.
The second axle is therefore NOT necessary !!!
(precised calculations have been accomplished by the Polytechnic Faculty of Mons)
However, for the most requiring customers, we have conceived a seasonal regulating system to optimize output at any time.
Building
The range of solar trackers De Simone is made up of installations adapted to your needs. They can receive panels from 4 to 50 square metres, up to 6300 cW (crest Watt) installed.
The trackers De Simone have the same geometry, whatever their size :
1 central foot, broadly sized, anchored in a concrete bulk.
1 structure carrying panels, movable on a vertical and adaptable angular axle.

This structure is electrically and automatically swivelled. It allows the monitoring of the sun in the course of the day without any noise pollution !
The whole structure is heat galvanized to introduce a very high resistance to corrosion.
It complies with actual norms concerning the structural measurements, wind resistance, weight of snow, electrical linking …
A simple and efficient monitoring method :
Thanks to our algorithm of rotation based on the astronomic data of the sun, the solar trackers De Simone perform no useless movement, the monitoring being performed following pre-programmed steps in a micro-robot. The energy consumption linked to the monitoring is extremely weak, less than 0.01 kWh a day for the biggest model.
A long lifespan without intervention :
The solar trackers De Simone distinguish themselves by a perfect compromise between the increase of the energy output of the photovoltaic panels which they steer and their simplicity. This guarantees an increase of the energy production assured in a reliable way in time. They require few maintenance and are entirely recyclable!
“Ready to use” kits :
Every solar tracker De Simone is provided with its own electrical casket containing remote control elements. The undulator is placed outside the casket on the tracker or ideally in the building.
Technical data sheet :
Panels of 170 cW

Panels of 220 cW
